As we celebrate my 19th anniversary with LinkedIn, it's a bit amusing that it wasn't even in my calendar. But there are certainly worse anniversaries to forget, right? Looking back, it's fascinating to see how this platform has evolved over the years, transforming from what initially appeared to be an online, open rolodex to what it is today.
While I won't bore you with a lengthy carousel outlining the platform's changes and my reflections, I'd like to share a significant takeaway given LinkedIn's expansiveness and the myriad opportunities it offers. The secret is to go "inch wide, mile deep." In other words, get crystal clear on who you serve and how you serve them, then delve deep into those relationships. Sure, accumulating likes, comments, connections, and followers is fantastic, but the true value lies in the quality of the relationships you cultivate.
